Jacob & Ashley – LaMaison Creative Co

Have you been to a wedding where you actually love every single detail and moment and choice the bride and groom made? I finally attended it two weekends ago. Jacob and Ashley’s wedding day was nothing short of breathtaking. The colors, the venue, the details, they were all phenomenal. And to top the cake, you’ve never met a bride or groom more excited to start their lives together. There was such genuine joy and excitement over the day, it was one of those weddings you’ve seriously hit the jackpot to shoot because they made it so fun.

My husband has actually known Ashley far longer than I have. They went to church and school together here in Georgia. She was one of the first friends of Dev’s that I met when he took me home to Savannah back when we were dating in college. Ashley has become a dear friend of mine over the years and it’s been such an honor to watch her grown into this role of girlfriend, to fiancé, to now a wife, all while becoming and adult, finishing her degree, and landing her first big time job.

I have only known Jacob since we moved back to Savannah. I mostly grew to know him through Bachelor viewing nights at Ashley’s mom’s house, who was a work friend of mine, and most of the time Ashley wasn’t even home from college to view with us. They began dating shortly after. Jacob is an absolute hoot, and you’ll never meet a more tender hearted man that loves his girl.

We shot their engagement photos back in November of 2019. We had so much fun together, when they asked me if I would shoot their wedding the following year I absolutely said YES! Now I only managed to cut down their gallery to 729 photos, but I promise to only share a couple dozen of my favorites here.
