Cassidy’s Senior Shoot
Hello and welcome to my first photoshoot blog post! I’m so excited to start sharing these so as to allow you to see my work, my gorgeous clients, and see how an entire session gallery looks when you book with me!
This shoot was so fun, as it was my very first senior photoshoot with a stranger! I’ve taken so many senior and graduation photos for friends and family, but this is my very first one who hired me without knowing me first! Cassidy’s mom reached out for more information on my packages and we booked that night for just a few weeks later. Cassidy was totally nervous at first, like many seniors who are often getting their photos professionally taken for the very first time. I told her in the very beginning “This pictures will be what you make of it. It feels silly doing some of these poses and prompts, but if you’re willing to go all out, the results will speak for themselves.” When I tell you that within two hours this girl looked like a professional model, you wouldn’t even believe it. She was phenomenal. She absolutely blossomed and made the most out of her shoot.
So not only was I nervous because I was eager to make sure I did an excellent job and make a good first impression, but I was shooting for the very first time on my new camera! I practiced all night before and the day of with this new camera to make sure I was prepared. Let me tell you, this sucker did not disappoint.
I believe I’ll dedicate a full post to comparing my Nikon D3200 and Nikon D750 once I have shot with the D750 for a few months. That camera is a beast and I can’t wait to take my work to the next level. But for now, let’s marvel at our stunning senior.
